Humans Can Change

Humans CAN Change, the newest creation from ChiroMission, LLC (CM) - the Doctors Without Borders of the non-medical, pro-active world of healthcare. ChiroMission has chosen to be responsible for providing natural healthcare and preventative Health education to the world’s less fortunate. CM takes hundreds of Health Professionals including Chiropractors, Chiropractic students and volunteers to third world countries to serve humanity, without expecting anything at all in return. CM is also in the process of building a Chiropractic and Preventative Medicine School in the Dominican Republic – an absolute first!

By immersing oneself totally in humanitarianism – without the normal stressful directions of life – CM participants receive many things but most importantly, a new perception and appreciation for the core values and abundance so easily lost in their hectic lives. So, Humans CAN Change is a unique opportunity to Dar y Recibe – Give and Receive. It is also a journey of self-discovery – to becoming aware that your greatest possession is your ability to Give to Others.

The two main areas addressed on the HCC experience are:

1) To reclaim the family bond by spending quality time full of exact purpose away from the fears and distractions of the world at home.
2) To create a new reference point for children and parents of a place where people have next to nothing yet have lives filled with joy. With this, HCC participants can return home with a new reality to compare their lives to and appreciate all they have, not what they want or need.

Humans CAN Change is a family experience for siblings, couples, spouses children (age 10 and up) and their parents or significant caregivers. As an offshoot of ChiroMission, HCC offers 6 years of experience and a strong relationship with the people and government of the Dominican Republic. The journey’s home base is at the wonderful Playa Dorado resort where participants gather, relax and recharge. The rest of the Mission is spent out in the villages and towns of DR, under the safe guidance of experts, guides and professionals.
